Donor Watch

Donor Watch

This is Massachusetts campaign finance from the state Office of Campaign and Political Finance (OCPF), filtered to the giving that touches Boston. It is mostly statewide money (governor, attorney general, U.S. Senate), with a small Boston-area slice broken out below. Every figure here is lawful giving mapped from public filings. We map who gave and to whom. We make no accusations and we never infer intent from a donation.

How to read this

Donations to candidates and committees are public and lawful. We show who gave and to whom, with a link to the original OCPF report for every money figure. Giving is civic participation, not wrongdoing. We never treat a contribution as evidence of influence or intent, and we keep individual donors, PACs and committees, and recipients clearly separated.

What this does and does not show
  • It shows lawful, publicly filed contributions: who gave, to whom, how much, and when.
  • It does not show influence, access, or intent. A donation is not evidence of a favor.
  • It is mostly statewide Massachusetts money, not a complete record of Boston municipal giving. The Boston-area cut above is a small sample.
  • Totals cover only the filing window shown, so they are not full-cycle fundraising numbers.
